Oh I agree with ya, thats why the Mid Majors have so much success come tournament time. In the end though, talent usually wins out. Florida had good chemistry but alot of talent, as did UCLA last year.
with UCLA, i think it was the luck of the draw...they just matched up well with the teams they got to play, save Florida...i will agree and say that youth doesnt have much of a factor in bball as say football, but the gap between the perennial powers and everyone else has closed largely in part to the amount of teams who have gelled together over the years...you wont see the same mid-major team on the national scene each year (except Gonzaga, but that's another story) because it takes them 3-4 years to get that group of players playing together well enough to challenge the big boys, while schools like UNC, Duke, Zona, UK, etc. just reload
